A message from Tim Harrison - Director of Athletics
Welcome to our new Athletics website. We will be adding much more information in the next few weeks to make this a great place for you to get the latest information about OC Athletics. All the information for our 11 intercollegiate sports that participate in the WSC can be found on the left side of this page.
We are proud to be a highly competitive member of the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA) and the Western State Conference (WSC).
The Condors have 14 conference championships since the institution was created in 1968.
The 2007-2008 school year has been a great one so far for the Condors. Highlights include:
- Our Men’s Soccer program won the WSC for the 2nd time in school history and advanced to the Regional Finals of the State tournament.
- Women’s Soccer begins a new era with new Head Coach Janet Cassidy from CSU Pomona.
- Men’s Cross Country program qualified for the state tournament for the fourth year in a row.
- Men’s Basketball program had a big turnaround season with a 2nd place finish in the conference.
- The Softball program in its second season is making noise and currently sits in second place.
- Baseball team is battling through the tough WSC currently standing in third place.
- Men’s and Women’s Track & Field continue to have had some great performances.
In the Fall of 2008, we will bring back Women’s Volleyball led by our new head coach, current AVP player David Fischer and former AVP player Jill Changaris.
