STAND ALONE SLO PROCESS

Step 1: Faculty complete the existing SLO form (either the “standard” form of the SLOizer).
Step 2: Faculty submits the SLO to Betty Hough to be logged for tracking purposes.
Step 3: Betty Hough sends the SLO to the Learning Outcome Team (LOT) for evaluation and analysis.
Step 4A: If LOT has suggestions or recommendation for the improvement of the SLOs, then their comments and suggestions will be reported back to Betty Hough and the faculty author.
Step 4B: After the faculty member addresses the recommendations or suggestions and revises the SLO they resubmit it to Betty Hough.
Step 4C: The revised SLO is again reviewed by LOT.
Step 4D: If the faculty member decided not to revise the SLO than they will communicate that to Betty Hough and the unadulterated SLO will go to the Curriculum Committee for consideration.
Step 5: LOT reports to the Curriculum Committee its recommendations regarding the submitted SLOs and or the revised SLOs and the Curriculum Committee makes the final decision as to whether they are acceptable or not.
